We are having a drawing a day projects at the art society, and Malcolm did fantastic work for February. Well done Malcolm - you should skies for March!
We are 67 pieces strong this year in the Crown Street Art Gallery.
There are many different styles to feast your eyes upon including oils, acrylics, textiles and pencil work. The gallery runs from today, all the way through to 7th April and is located in the Crown Street Library and is easily accessed through the East Street entrance, opposite the main Post Office. Opening hours are - Monday and Tuesday - 9am-6pm Wednesday and Friday - 9am-5pm Thursday - 10am-6pm Saturday - 9am-4pm We had a fantastic night on Wednesday, the putting together of our project from the week before. On the 6th we had a patchwork picture group project, where a large picture was cut into squares, and each member took a piece and "upscaled" their own piece in any medium. We patched everyone's pieces together this week, how fantastic does this look!!!!
