What a fantastic start to the Annual Exhibition at The Station! There was something for everyone to enjoy. The top gallery displayed painted works and craft pieces, and the lower gallery housed digital and pencil works. Pieces were being sold within the first hour! Congratulations to all the winners of last nights awards, which were issued by our President, Sir Stephen Furness. Pictures of which will follow later today. A massive hearty thank you to all who entered the raffle draw. The proceeds of which all went to this years nominated charity, Muscles for Mitchell. The raffle book was emptied, and over £100 was raised towards this worthy cause. Below are some photos from last nights events. If you would like to share any photographs you have, send them in via e-mail or upload them to Facebook (@The Darlington Society Of Art) or Twitter (@DarlingtonSOA)
Just wanted to congratulate our new Chairman Colin Mackenzie, and Vice Chairman Carol Dawson.
